The slave will act humble at all times and will never expect anything in return except for the basics mentioned above. If a slave won’t do/complete a task he/she will expect punishment from his/her Mistress/Master. The punishment can vary from very soft to very cruel, depending on the gravity of the situation and also depending on the mood of the Mistress/Master. The problem with slaves is that the thin line between domination and abusive behavior can be very easily crossed, this is why I personally am very cautious when somebody claims that he/she wants to be MY slave.
A submissive is a person who take orders, obeys, BUT, in the same time this person can have his/her own decisions, his/her own limits and, of course, his/her own rights. A submissive can say “no, I won’t/can’t do that”, but he/she has to come up with a solution that will satisfy him/her as well as the Mistress/Master. While the slave is not supposed to have a personality, for a submissive it is higly required to have one, cuz this will make the entire experience more pleasurable and interesting.
